Interesting story behind this piece. I was leaving Art Works Richmond one day last summer and noticed this plant that had sprouted from concrete in the window sill. I am so impressed by nature’s tenacity to grow where there is no apparent source of nutrients. I included dust-like particles in this and several other pieces in the "End in Mind' exhibit to represent the energy that was once the life-force of this plant going home to source.
